COVID-19 VACCINATION PROGRAMME

The first phase of the NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme has started. When it is the right time patients will receive an invitation to come forward. This letter will include all the information you will need to book appointments, including your NHS number.

Please do not contact the NHS to get an appointment until you get this letter.

FLU VACCINE

If you qualify for a flu vaccine and have not had this yet then please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment.

PATIENTS GIVEN APPOINTMENTS AT OUR RED HUB:

 

During the current COVID-19 outbreak, patients experiencing certain symptoms (breathing issues and / or fever) and who have been telephone assessed by a GP to need a face-to-face examination will be called to our local 'Red Hub'.

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) 

The latest guidance from the Department of Health states:

 If you have a fever or cough you should self-isolate for 7 days.

If you feel unwell - defined as being unable to carry our your regular activities - and have a fever and a cough you should contact NHS 111 or go online to https://111.nhs.uk

Please do not contact the practice unless advised by NHS 111.

 

 

PRACTICE APPOINTMENTS

 

Following guidance from NHS England and to protect our patients and staff there is no longer any walk-in access to the practice unless you are collecting a prescription. 

All appointments must be pre-booked by calling our Reception on 01228 791328. Please help us by providing the reason for your appointment to allow us to determine if this can be booked immediately or triaged by a GP.  Appointments will be allocated only if face to face patient care is clinically required.

Appointments will not be available to book online until further notice.
