The Practice has a Patient Participation Group which was set up just over a year ago and is keen for more patients to join the group.

The group is there to work closely with the Practice to develop and improve the services it can provide, foster good working practices and increase patient and Practice understanding of each others role. It explores ways of improving communication and accessibility to services for all, but particularly infrequent attendees, those in outlying areas and those who find it difficult to get to the surgery.

It is hoped in the future to develop a newsletter, to give information on NHS targeted health issues and advice on how better to manage your own health and wellbeing. The aim is to have this available on the Practice website with hard copies at the surgery.

At present meetings are held about one a month at the surgery for a maximum of two hours, either at lunchtime or early evening with members of the Practice team.

If this is something you might be interested in or want more information, please contact the surgery on 01228 791328.
